I have a 99 Taurus with over 30,000 rounds thru it. Taurus has a lifetime warantee and they stand behind it. I prefer the 99 over the 92 for the adjustible sights.

Get the Taurus. The High Power is discontinued, and Charles Daly has a really really bad reputation with their customer service. Recently there was a shakeup over the amount of complaints and they were rebuilding.

The "Charles Daly" brand name has been held by a number of importers over the past 80 years. The current holder is CZ USA. CZ USA has spent considerable time, energy and money in developing a "good" name here in the US - I seriously doubt that they will market "junque" firearms and jeapordize their currently high esteem. That being said - some of our most highly esteemed domestic producers have screwed themselves over the years by marketing foreign made "junque" firearms...Charles Daly USED to be a highly regarded BRAND name.

CZ USA does not hold or own Charles Daly. The holder is KBI Imports, owned by Michael Kassnar. Depending on the line you are buying from CD, the makers are different in quality. The High Powers were made by two different companies. Magnum Research made the frames and perhaps the slide, and FEG of Hungary(now hut down) made the rest.

It is all on CD's website. I don't know where you got you info 32magnum, but you are miles off on CZ USA owning Daly.

Guntests reviewed the Taurus and the Beretta 92 models and said BUY on Taurus because of its ability for carry cocked and locked!
