Colt diamondback help

The ejector rod head is very tight. Can not remove it by hand. Before I use pliers with a piece of leather. Are the threads left or right? Also this gun has not been shot much but the owner shot it the other day and the bullet was hitting the target sideways. Any help?

Try chucking the rod in a cordless drive, put some empty cartridges in the chambers to protect the extractor alignment pins. then turn the chuck by HAND to lossen rod.
This has worked well for me,with no damage to the rod.

Remove cylinder and yoke. Put a couple pieces of wood on it and clamp in a vice. Turn cylinder by hand to the left, they are right hand threads.
What does the rifling in the barrel look like [?] Can you see any [?] It might be leaded badly.
