Anyone here familiar with them , own one ? Thoughts ?

Their guns are a nice size and look pretty good and they have supposedly resolved the problems with many of the early guns. However I have two, one of which is now reliable and the other is nonfunctional. I can not recommend them as a defense weapon.

wasn't skyy just an importer?
You're probably thinking of "Blue Sky" importers.
They're made in Florida (as are Kel-Tecs). They have an external safety (unlike the Kel-Tec 9mm p11 that they are copied from).
I don't know anyone who has tried one that thinks they are superior to the Kel-Tecs they are copied from, where as I *have* heard the contrary
(ie that they aren't as good).
Sorry, I had too.
Like everyone said, they are knock-off Kel-Tecs.
