Which bullet diameter for 38-55 1894 Win.

I want to load for a 1906 1894 rifle in 38-55 and an not sure of which diameter cast bullet to use.
I was going to try the .377 is this correct,also I will be using a dillon 550 press with RCBS cowboy dies, the dillon 38-55 expaning power funnel will be taking the place of the expander die, has anyone
used this setup or a similer one.
Any input will be greatly apprecated.

The proper bullet diameter for cast bullets is 0.379

I suggest you SLUG the barrel and this will let you load a bullet as close to .001 oversize as you can buy . UNDERsize bullets will lead badly and those .003 oversize or larger will suffer as to group size. AT least that has been my experience.Your mileage may vary.

Perry's advice is dead on the mark. The early Winchester 38-55 barrels can be anywhere from .378 - .381, with .379 being the nominal diameter.
