Weaver KT-15 for .223 Ruger?

What can you tell me about quality and price of a Weaver KT-15 scope? I am thinking about buying a used one for $125 to put on a Ruger stainless M77 223. Is this too much scope for a .223 or about right? I was going to call it a sniper rifle, but occasionally use it for crows, groundhogs and coyotes. Thanks for any replies.

They work very well and hold zero.
