History and Value Request: Liberty 22 Short hand

Looking for information on a Liberty Model RG-10 22 Short Cal. Handgun made in Germany.

I have seen the handgun and it's in excellent condition, never fired and is still in the original box (this was a mail order item from years ago).

Sorry guys, I don't have this piece in hand either nor the serial number for this item. If anyone has a ballpark value that would be sufficient.

Thanks in advance.
Rodney

It was probably made by Rohm.
    Value is about $50.

It will have dated West German proofs on it, ( sometimes the dates are coded ). Late 50's, to late 70's was probably the time frame it was manufactured though.

on both sides of the handle there is small inset 'gold' emblem with the words LIBERTY.

On the top of the barrel it says
    Made In Germany

On the bottom of the barrel it says
    Liberty Model RG10
    Cal 22 Short
    170872

on the body of the gun, close to the barrel there is, what appears to be an Eagle symbol and then the same number as on the barrel, 170872.
