I have a krupp essen shotgun that was left to me by my grandfather.

I have looked on the net to determine it's value and no dice.

Any ideas on how I can find out the age, etc?

thanks,

Ill hang up and listen....[:)]

Krupp Essen was the the manufacturer of the steel that your shotgun barrels were made of.

This was a fairly common marking on the barrels of older Germans shotguns.

There should be other markings on your shotgun such as German Proof Marks and perhaps either retailers or gunsmiths name(s).

We would need quality photos of the shotgun and all markings to help you identify age and value.
