Anybody know where I can purchase internal parts and grips for a
1917 RIA bayonet?

    I believe the bayonet for the Model 1917 rifle (whether made by RIA, or the other WWI manufacturers) are all the same. They patterned the bayo after the WWI S.M.L.E bayonet.

    EDIT
    You may have a M1905 bayonet meant for the Springfield/Rock Island M1903 rifles (which just so happens to have the manufacturing date stamp of 1917 on the hilt).

    You can get spare parts for either bayonet from E-b#y, or Numrich http://e-gunparts.com

    If your bayonet has the release button on the side, refer to the first paragraph. If the release button is on the bottom, use the info from the second paragraph in your search. Best, Joe
