AR15 upper manufacturer?

Who made this AR15 upper? This keyhole mark is the only thing I can find on this upper that might identify it's origin.

    I believe that the marking is for Cerro Forge.

    With the information you have given there is no way to tell who made the upper. Many companies use Cerro upper receivers to build guns out of.

    Does they barrel not have any markings?

    Your upper's manufacturer received a piece of in-the-white aluminum which was roughly shaped like an upper receiver from Cerro Forge.

    They then machined it out to their specs and applied the finish.

    In other words, this marking really just indicates the quality of the aluminum itself.
