Value of Colt Army Spec. 32-20

What would be the value of a Colt Army Special in 32-20. Gun was badly rusted and had been reblued with a matte finish. Pitting is visible on the frame between the hammer and grip. S/N is 540xxx mfg 1927-28.
I would be getting this strictly as a shooter, not a collectible.

Mine in .38 Special.
you might try an advanced search of completed auctions to see what they actually sell for these days.
The old Colts had a two stage hand arrangement. It takes a knowledgeable pro to get them back in time, if a new hand has to be fitted. A beat up 32-20 Army Special, wouldn't be worth paying a pro gunsmith to fix, IMHO.
EDIT #1,
Lego's photo of Army Special.
