Surefire flash hider and a rebar cutter, LH thread

At the gunshow last weekend i picked up a pair of muzzle attachments. One is marked SureFire's SF logo, with FH556-216A over (M16), the other is unmarked but looks like a rebar cutter. Both are Left Hand threaded! Found the same model number on Surefire's websight, but it says it is 1/2x28 threads, and this one is not 1/2x28. Any idea what threat pattern this could be?

I would be tempted to say they were Chinese knock-off's, with some sort of metric thread? But left hand threads don't make any sense?

Contact Surefire they might be some kind of experimental or special order product. That walked out of the factory, in somebodies pocket.

IIRC... the Surefire suppressors use an adapter to fit a certain gun.
Yours may be setup for a LH threaded barrel. New adapters are about $149 from them.

PS...I think you have a LH set up for a H&K 5.56 gun.
