I saw a Colt SAA made in 1904 that had the word "BRIDAL" stamped along with some other letters I couldn't quite make out. Does any one know what this would mean?

I don't know anything about SAA's. Not likely the markings are factory original Colt though. Many Colt's were sold to commercial firms, for use by their employees. They marked them as they saw fit.

The only way, IMHO that they would have any value. If the markings were done by Colt. And could be substantiated through Colt factory records.

Not factory markings. Maybe stamped by owners of some ranch or other location. They often did that to keep their guns from being stolen.

I would make the effort to read the entire stamping. Maybe it will be something famous like Wells Fargo.

rufe snow has the best advice. If you call colt Archive dept and ask by PHONE about a particular serial number Colt SAA you will be told if they have records on this pistol They will also give you a price over the phone for a letter of these records. Lets say your pistol was one in a shipment of 100 guns to a large distributor and that is all they know the letter may be priced at $200.00 or less. But if this pistol was shipped in a shipment of one to a famous Texas ranger colt might tell you the letter will cost $500.00 In this case the High cost letter is the biggest bargain Because it will be more detailed and have history to tell about this particular pistol. One of my high cost letters is a Military pistol that was first shipped as Calvary model and then sent back for rework to Colt factory and then shipped back to US military . This proves it is not a parts gun not a Bubba parts gun. Another pistol is shown as shipped in super rare configuration .
