The reason why I asked you what press you used was because I had a similar problem some years ago with my original style AR10. I was using a Lyman turret press. I went to the NRA show when it was in town that year and talked to the Lyman people about my problem. Using SB dies in a turret press. They told me that the problem was with a turret type press and the small base dies. The Lyman model had a springing action in the press which more or less made the small base dies useless. That combination and a maybe closer tolerance chamber could very well cause the problem. You might be experiencing the same problem. You may want to call Dillon as well and explain the situation to them.
On the other side I'm sure that more .223/308 ammo has been loaded on Dillon presses then any other without any problems.
