Value Forehand Wadsworth grips in great shape?

I believe it is a Forehand and Wadsworth. I have the entire pistol but am mostly curious about the grips. Great shape, maybe 90%, some small nicks, pin point size about, black checkered plastic with 8 pointed star around escuchteon hole and the letters "F&W" in a sort of banner overtop a kind of shield.
Pistol nickel plated, turn of the century about ( I think). .32 barrel marked Forehand Arms Company Worcester Mass. Patent dates of '86 and '87. Sort of a parts gun, all there, cylinder won't advance, believe mainspring is broken also.
Any idea of value and is it worth moe to sell as a parts gun or sell the grips alone? No pictures yet but if there is any interest I will update when I list it. Thanks

Hundreds of thousands of those Saturday Night Specials, were made around the turn of the 20th Century. By various manufacturers. A lot of them are presently in the same inoperable condition as yours. Folks find them stashed in old trunks in the attic. And need parts to fix them.
They have other models listed. Basket cases have their uses. Learning to make or fit parts is best done hands on, books and video's only go so far. It will sell better as a group, parting it out might double or more your money in 10 times the amount of time. I doubt its a high demand/dollar item.
Thanks for the advice, I will put it up as parts. I am also not sure if I can mail this as an antique, I believe it to be made prior to 1898.
Only thing you actually have to be concerned about is the frame. Although Forehand & Wadsworth ceased doing business under that name, in the early 1890's, per Flayderman.
