power pac chokes

I've acquired a 12ga with full choke with a power pac compensator, did some research found both ,don't use with modern plastic wads and no problem with modern wads,figured I'd ask the experts,any info would be appreciated.It's an ithaca 37 .Thanx

    I have read about the old Power Pacs occasionally catching a stray pellet or two from the shot charge back when they only had fiber wads, and then that little stray pellet going out the side of the tube. Cutts Compensators had identical problems. The new one piece wads should help this problem, if it is a problem, but I've never had a single problem with any Cutts or Weaver or Power Pac or any other similar "jump the gap" choke device I've ever owned with shaving pellets.

    Leave the Power Pac and the Cutts and the Weavers on there. Say your prayers and live right, and don't think you'll get out of this life early because of stray pellets coming out of the side of an old choke device.;)"

    Thanx, that was actually something I read somewhere else,and was one of the ones I believe ;-] I guess when I go to shoot it I'll know!p.s I'll let you know, lord willing !! haha
