Bob Dalton Colt question.

Yesterday I had some business in Coffeyville Ks. And decided to visit the Dalton Defenders Museum. I am a former resident of Coffeyville and had been to the museum many times. But probably not in about 15+ years.
One revolver aroused my curiousity. It is a 32 caliber Colt SA on a 45 frame. That Bob Dalton reportedly carried in his boot.
My question is, would this be a factory gun. Or was it a gunsmith special?

they say 30 calibers
I think those boys only walked from the hitching rail to the bar or teller window.

A friend of mine had a 32-20 Colt SAA and I recall that it appeared to be about the same frame size at the standard 45 Long Colt. Unfortunately his home was burglarized and it was stolen, so it's been several years since I've seen it.
They were exactly the same size. There was no difference in Colt SAA frame size due to caliber.
