Does anyone know someone who works on .22 barrels that can help them shoot birdshot better and an indoor shoot. Can only use stock barrels but they can be modified, No long barrels

Call Joe at Joes Custom Guns in Rockford, WV.
He used to modify shot gun barrels by back boring and special honing
methods for card competitions.
Same thing you need done, but on a smaller scale.
I think the conical smoothbore 22's did reasonably well with the crimped shot loads. Routledge-Bore comes to mind.
Best
matches. They all spread shot strings much too much.
I assume because you looking for a gunsmith to modify your gun,
you are into some serious competitions. A custom machined barrel
is the only way to go, if you want to win.
The guy next to you on the line will have one.[;)]
