I wonder if it would be a bad Idea to try and fit these myself to a different gun? I own a Browning that has a set of these. I own a second browning that I would like to use them in. I tried to fit them into the second gun and they get stuck after 16 inches. Has anyone ever tried this?

Reducing the diameters of the spacers at the front and center so that it will fit the second shotgun, might cause a loose sloppy fit in the shotgun they were originally fitted to. If your getting rid of the original shotgun won't make any difference. If you intend to keep it, probably something to think about.

Contact Purbaugh, get their input. They might fit them to both guns for a nominal fee.
