S&W 1905 ?

What I believe to be a 1905 model SW revolver just showed up at my local pawn shop.
It is blued, has a 5in.barrel,and checkered walnut diamond grips w/SW medallions.I believe it to be all original as there is even wear over the entire gun including the grips.
The lock up is tight and the action seems to be excellent.
The bore is bright and free of any pitting but the rifling is not real crisp.
There is the # 2 centered above the ser#79995.These #s are on the frame(by the crane).I should know by now to look at the bottom of the frame on SW revolvers.
If 79995 is the correct # I think it may be a 2nd change 1905.
I put the condition at about 80%.
The store owner has no idea, nor does he seem to care as to the age or model of the gun.
The asking price is $375.
Any insight out there regarding these guns would be appreciated.
thank you.

I'm thinking they are at top $. Worn bore spooks me.
From your description, I don't think it's that great of a deal. Considering the condition. As I see it, it's a almost 100 year old, thrashed revolver. Not even close to the deal you got on the 19. Condition, condition, condition is what collector quality guns is all about. 10 years down the line, it's still going to be a thrashed M & P. Worth only moderately more, than what you payed for it.
thank you.
Yes,Im happy with the 19.
It just needs a little TLC.
