FEG clip swoping

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not other than the clips that come with a FEG 45 cal can be interchanged with colt 8 round clips or any other brand for that matter?

    Are you referring to the FEG GKK 45 ACP pistol? If you are, these magazines are unique and regular 1911 magazines cannot be substituted for them.

    I don't know if FEG has any other pistols in 45ACP other than the GKK (which is a Hi-power clone in 45ACP) but if that's the one you're talking about, Manoa_Fisherman is correct.

    This gun takes its own mags, and 1911 Colt magazines won't work.

    If you're looking for magazines for this particular model gun, they are readily available and not too expensive. In general, Promag magazines can be hit or miss, but these supposedly work OK:
