Colt SAA 357 Mag...interesting box

I've never seen a Colt SAA box like this one, about what year is this revolver from? Is it a 2nd gen?

    That's known as the "Stagecoach Box" and yes, it is a 2nd Generation box used from the late 1960's to mid 1970's. The revolver was made in 1973.

    This photograph shows a Postal District/ Zone Code of "14":

    Those codes started in 1943. The ZIP Code was started in 1963, though it was non-mandatory, at that point. If the revolver is from a later timeframe (1973), then, I would think that, the box is not original to the gun.
