wild west guns has a modified marlin takedown lever rifle...seen the takedown videos and am wondering how they take up the slack as the system wears, on my 1893 takedown there is a levered shim arrangement, didn't see anything like that on the wild west guns. would also like some input on how to tighten up a marlin takedown when it starts wearing more than the mechanism can handle, thanks

Looks interesting. I have 5.25 pound loaded with sling 45-350 Rem Mag built by P.O. Ackley on a 600 Rem action. 400 gr bullet at 2200 fps from a 18 inch tube. Most folks will only shoot it once. Makes a great shorter range shotgun with the proper loads. Ididn't find the video yet.

Love to get me a Co-Pilot. One of those "After I Won The Lotto-Guns", but ran in to a Marlin 1895GS a while back and I'm good. I do want the "Big Loop" to get my Chon Wang on. Would love a Hogue stock (too bad they don't make them).
