I just purchased one and it seems to be accurate, but the sights could be better.
I was thinking of going to another set of sights made by Ruger and the description says recommended installed by gunsmith.
How hard is it? It appears a screw holds the front sight on and the rear is dovetailed. I was also considering just replacing the front sight and the rear blade.
Thank you.

I'll go look at the rear blade to see how it works. OK, looks like the rear blade has a tiny screw on the right side that pushes the blade against a hidden spring on it's left. The whole sight assy is held in the dovetail by a setscrew going in from the top.
MILLET offers a good replacement sight.
Looking at the replacement sights, the part of the sight that dovetails into the receiver may not need replaceing. There is a part containing the sight blade and adjustment screws that screw in the the dovetailed part.
I will order one and see how much troubles I've gotten myself in.
