You may already know, but the SW99 is the same as the Walther P99. I have also been looking at this gun but in the .40 cal. Look at this link and you can see some reviews on the .40 and 9mm http://www.handgunreview.com/reviews/sandw.asp All of the reviews are close to the bottom of the page. Maybe this will help.

I have an SW99 and have been real pleased with it. It's light, accurate and the adjustable grip makes a big difference.Before long, I'll probably have an SW99 in .45 to go with my Kimber.
