I need some pointers on establishing the value of a rifle I recently inherited.

It's a Griffin&Howe 30-06 GOV., numbered 1216. That's all I know and I know it's not much, but I'm entirely clueless. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction.

Try emailing chapman@griffinhowe.com. He heads up the gunsmithing operations and may be able to tell you what you have. He helped me out with a Winchester 52 I bought.
