USA made Browning Rifle in .243 or .308 value?

Anyone know anything regarding the existence of or value of a Browning .243 or .308 caliber rifle made in the USA. I think they were made by TRW, but the project got scrapped and only a few survived. Just wondering if anyone knows anything on this subject.

    Fjestad in the latest B B, estimates 50/250 total production circa 1966. Values them between $600 -$1000, depending on condition, 90 per cent/100 per cent.
