.45 Super Question

I am wondering about the .45 Super caliber. Never tried it yet.
My question is:
1. How it feels to shoot 45 Super?
2. How to convert SIG 220 to it?
3. Who makes 45Super guns?
Thanks a lot for your response.

God Bless USA!

I started shooting .45 Super years back, after Dean Grinnel wrote a series of articles on it in "Gun World" magazine.
Was using a new Springfield full size .45, believe it weighed 39 ozs.
Once you start loading up to 1200 fps even the light .45 bullets are a pita to shoot! I quit real quick because it just got to ugly.
Trust me, you don't want to be shooting a .45 Super through a Sig 220 that has a alloy frame and a higher bore axis then a Colt 1911A1 type .45.
