ARE THE 100 YEAR OLD 8 MM TURKISH MAUSERS J BORES ???????

    By 100 year old models you must be referring to the 1893 model. All that I have seen have had .323 bores, but anything is possible--so if in doubt slug the bore. In the late 1930's and early 1940's Turkey attempted to standardize all of their rifles as to length, general appearance, and ammunition, but it is always possible a few missed part of the process and were not rebarrelled. Better to be safe than sorry.
