Recently came across a used M3 for sale for $700. Is this gun legal for any joe off the street to buy, or is this just for law enforcement?

Will super 90 vent rib field barrel work on a M3 benelli, thinking this might make a great waterfowl gun but not with 19" barrel and ghost sights.

    Thanks

Anyone can own one. Most likely though at that price it's post ban so you would not be able to put a mag extension and pistol grip on it.

As far as I know (coming from Denmark/greenland), yes they are legal to own for civilians - it is not just for Law enforcement.

    A used Benelli M3 Super 90 - for 700$US doesn't sound too bad.

But beware though, some states seem to have some weird rules.
About magazine-extencion and pistolgrip and such, expecially if they're present on the same gun - it might be illegal.

I like the M3 Super 90 in about all it's versions.
But I desided to buy a Benelli Super Black Eagle 12gauge 3?" semi-auto instead.

Never heard anything bad about them.
The few notions that I have heard, would be that some models doesn't cycle well on light loads - but why buy a big-bucks gun and feed it el-crappo ammo?

But I can almost promise you - once you got a Benelli, you don't want (or need) anything else.!

Post-ban that sounds about right... If by chance it is pre-ban then you found a bargain. Legal pre-bans run over a grand around here and legal factory folders run $2,500 IF you can find one for sale.
They are neat guns. I had one for years.

The only problem I have with the Benelli M3 is that it won't cycle all loads of ammo.
