Hi Does anyone know when this gun was made?
It appears to be in working order,at least the pump does seem to compress air! Also if anyone knows the approximate value?

On the breech it says BENJAMIN AUTOMATIC AIR RIFLE-BENJAMIN AIR RIFLE CO.St. Louis Mo. USA

Where can I find a diagram for this rifle? I have new seals and valve to install but afraid to try without some instructions. I'm not a kid, just 82 and still like to shoot it in my back yard.

I can buy a Benjamin Air rifle for $10. Looks old but in generally good condition, pumps up, holds air and shoots BBs rather than pellets. Bolt to barrel interface is loose and leaks when fired. Wood is good with smooth pump handle, all the barrel and pump tube are nickel plated, now about 85%. Does anyone collect these? Website? Value? Thanks.

What would have been the model number for the Benjamin rifle in .177 made circa 1954-56? Wood/brass/nickle/hand pump - I have/had one that has circulated through the family over the last 50 years or so - I mean to buy one in shooting shape if I can. Thanks.

Thanks for replies. I traded for it. Fixed the leak with the adjustment on left side. Shoots hard and holds air. BBs just roll out so I switched to pellets. I also have a Chinese .177 side cocker now for 20 years that still shoots straight and hard. You are right, air guns can be fun. Robert
