Although I get one of each yearly for my library, I would have to choose the Gun Digest over the Shooter's Bible. The Digest contains many more articles, and the catalog section seems more complete.

Myra-Lou, Jeff Cooper doesn't write for the Shooter's Bible and he isn't one either. Despite what some people will tell you.
And ya'll will read them both anyway. Especially out of the library. I really don't think either of 'em is worth the money they want, assuming you can find 'em in a book store.

I have gotten both from time to time and I don't really think either is worth the price, but I agree with Der Gebirgsjager, Gun Digest would be my choice of the two. I am partial to the 'Complete Rifleman', an annual by Sundra.
