Can anyone tell me about when a S&W m-41, 46,xxx was made. thanks.

    I have one in the 90,000 range that was bought new in 1969; so, based on that, I would estimate that yours was made in the early 1960's. These early guns have the desireable cocking indicator that was eliminated in later revisions.

    Proably the early 60's. The early SW41's were beautifly finished. Hope yours is in good shape.................Hondo

    thnaks for the help, yes it has the cocking indicator and is in great shape.
