VERTICLE GROUP

I'm finding my groups wandering up suddenly???? No windage variation! Then back down again??? What used to be a 1/2 group is now 1/2 inch wide and 2 inches long??? Checked all the nuts and bolts and everything is tight. Rifle is a 6mm Remington 700 VLS,Burris 8x32 scope,Burris rings on weaver mounts,Choate stock and Rifle Basix trigger.I wait at least one minute between shots. Also noticed I lost some velocity and found some improvement in the verticle variation when I loaded some lighter loads with,of course, even less velocity. This velocity change threw me another curve. I'm shooting Hornady 75 grain V-max (moly),H-414 powder, winchester mag primers in Remington brass. At 47.0 grains I was getting great groups at 3500 fps. This dropped to about 3350 and then went back up to 3480 two days later. (anbient temp??) A friend thinks I have the Choate stock attached too tight.I'm wondering about the scope. Everything worked fine early this spring and now the bottom fell out! The rifle only saw about 100 rnds this spring and now this! HELP! I'm probably confusing the issue with two unrelated problems but want to relay all the facts. Thanks for listening !

Cheek pressure or pressing into the bag will cause that, if it is not consistent. I have some of that happening right now.
Inconsistent neck tension will result in differing velocities.
Inconsistent powder charges will cause that also.
why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
Got Balistics?
