Mahrholdt Innsbruck

I have recently come into possesion of a European rifle with Mahrholdt Innsbruck etched into the barrel and nothing else. I have no idea about the caliber of the rifle or it quality.

Can anybody point me in the right direction.

    My reference notes that "Mahrholdt & Sohn" is a Austrian firearms company that was established in the 19th Century and is still in business today.

    You will have to post good quality pictures of your rifle and give us a comprehensive explanation of all the markings (Proofmarks), if we are to help you identify your rifles type, caliber and value etc.
