Kind of a Rem. 870 clone, but good quality. Parts are getting hard to find. gunpartscorp has em, but prices are high. HOWA made their 1000 series auto shotguns too. The 1st pumps were the 1000P, but i think confusion with the the 1000 auto made them change the # to 3000. Same gun, different #. The 96 & 916 pumps were from Noble and in my humble opinion were absolute junk, besides being a danger to the shooter.

the 3000 had slide rail problems. it was discontinued for a good reason.

its a single rail design that binds in the middle. also too, where it engaged the bolt, the hooks would wear out.

ok my bust....i got two guns mixed up. check the carrier engagement hooks where it meets the bolt. how do they look? mine wore out. otherwise, ive had no problems with a 3000. then again , i shot 500 rounds a week in it!

No fair confusing me more than i already am!Thanks ATF. I knew it had 2 bars. BOB i think it was the Noble made 96 & 916 that had the single bar that hooked to the pot metal carrier assembly. Look at the pic ATF posted and you can see what i meant about being an 870 clone.
