I am thinking about buying a Navy Arms Model 1892 in 45lc. with a 241/2" barrel. How they built? Are they close to some of the other higher priced ones? Thank You Bob

I have a Gibbs 45/70 with a Navy Arms barrel and it is really nice. I'm not sure about Navy Arms rifles specifically, but I do like the barrels.Hope this helps.

Navy Arms 1892 rifles are manufactered by Rossi. They also make the rifles marketed by EMF and Puma. I have one (Puma) and it is a very well made and accurate rifle. I have also sold six of these (Puma's) to other customers who are also impressed by what the bought. Hitting the chickens at the sil range at 200m is not difficult in 357 mag. They in no way rival the Winchester 92's, new or old, though.

    I have a Puma M'92 - outstanding rifle - in 454 Casull/.45 LC.
What impresses me about it is the smooth action, accuracy and
the fine finish on the gun/the wood. I'll probably buy anything
else they come out with - regardless of what it is![:D][:D][:D]
