Pre - war Sauer info

Anybody know much about pre war Sauer rifles. The local shop got in one in 30-06. It has a peepsite and beautiful stock that appears to be of the 30's period. The whole rifle seems original and in around 95% The owner wants $700. Sorry I can't do a picture.

    Give us a description of the markings on the rifle, i.e. ( proofs & manufacturers ). We might be able to give you an better idea of the rifles value, through them.
