winchester 1892 bolt

i have two winchester 1892 bolts for 32-20,25-20. the difference is the fireing pin holes one is perfctly round and the other is more of a ovel.i think the difference might be one is black powder and the other is smokeless.and does any one know were i can get a firing pin for the ovel opening one. thanks kevin

they both started out round, the oval one is probably worn (or a factory 'oops').

I agree with Mike... the "oval" hole is due to excessive wear (Winchester would not have allowed an "oops" out of the door back in those days).
