Im looking to find out what it is worth. It has a 4 digit serial number 97xx. Back by the hammer is a marking. It says 62 an then a mark that looks like a handwritten u with a line drawn through it in front of the mark. It also has a mark above the other one that looks like an upside down flower. And last but no least is a mark at the back of the barrel that looks like a snake. This derringer says Madison Import cdre on the top of the barrel. It is an over under 38 cal.
