Weaver K-1 Scope Questions.

When were the Weaver K-1, 1X scopes made and what type/caliber/gauge guns were they commonly used on? I bought a nice one and am trying to decide how to use it. I was thinking of putting it on a 12 GA. slug gun, maybe a .22 auto rifle or a lever action .35 caliber. What do you think?

58 to 67 according to the scope book. Since 1x scopes have no magnification, they were probably intended for shotguns? Nowadays you would probably be better served by a red dot sight. Sell it on fleabay and use the money to buy yourself a red dot sight, my 2?.
