Who makes a 44 Mag. autoloader?

I was wondering who made a 44 Mag. autoloader and if anyone had any insight into these?

Ruger makes a Deerfield Carbine in .44mag, is semiauto.

Ruger used to produce their Model 44 Autoloading Carbine. Had an internal tubular magazine if I'm not mistaken. They made maybe four or more variants. Model 44 Standard, Model 44 Mannlicher, Model 44 Sporter, and the Model 44 RS Carbine. What the differences were between them I really don't know.

Besides the Desert Eagle, a couple of semi-auto handguns were the Auto Mag and the LAR Grizzly.

he also used an automag in the movie where the badguys are trying to rub him out (forget the name now), but you are correct the famous line refers to his S&W model 29.

Re: the Ruger Semi's,
Main difference between the several models mentionned was in the stock. There was also an early model, not sure of the designation, that had a vertical dovetail in the left side of the reciever for a Williams reciever sight.

That line was this is the .44 magnum Auto-Mag, and if used properly it will remove the fingerprints. The pistol was made by Auto-Mag

While it's not really a .44 mag, Clark Custom has a .460 Rowland conversion available for 1911's that will give you .44 mag performance. Check out the reviews on Clark's website: http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/rowland.htm .

One more vote for the Ruger carbine. My only regret with mine was letting my wife shoot it....

It was an AMT Automag.
Quite collectable and expensive.
