Whatever happened to the Semmerling (sp) .45? As I remember, they were a manually - operated semi - auto type pistol, if that makes sense. That is, it was a semi - auto configuration, but the slide was operated manually for each shot, the shooter pulling the slide forward to extract and eject and then sliding it backward to chamber the next round. They were few and far between even 20 years ago, and quite pricey when found. Anyone have one? or seen one lately?
