Hesse Reciever on a Century import L1A1

I have a Hesse Recivered Century L1A1. I got it cheap, but it has the unibrow feedramp. The gun jams constantly. As you would expect. I was wondering if anyone has any expeireince fixing this problem. The only thing I can think of is have a bead welded to the ramp and filing it taller. The problem it has is when the round is coming out of the mag, they run into the bottom of the Barrel IE Chamber. If anyone could give a few suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
