Marlin 1894 .44 mag (old model)

I found an older Marlin 1894 .44 mag without that button safety on the side of the receiver. It looks really clean, but dusty from sitting on the pawn shop shelf, about 95% condition. I will run a brush down the bore to check that as well before I make a move. The tag says $295. Deal or no deal?

I'd say pretty good deal. Offer $250 and see what happens. Have seen these go for $400+ in the condition you describe.
