I have a Colt D.A. 38, 6 inch barrel, rubber grips with "COLT" rounded at the top of the grip. The bottom of the grip (is this called the "bottom grip strap"?) has "US Army Model 1901" & "No. 3724" on it. Can someone tell me the value of this gun? I have pictures, but I can't figure out how to attach them.

I've tried to attach the photos following the instructions, to no avail. Maybe it's to late in the eve.

Any info you can provide woudl be appreciated.

I just found a Colt D.A. 38. The serial number is 134736. It is in great condition, and still has about 70% of the original blue. It has the extended barrel, with the ejector rod and spring.

    When was the gun manufactured?

How much is this worth? How much should I expect to get from a Antique Gun Shop?

Could someone please help me identify this Colt D.A. 38? I'm trying to price this gun and I don't know what model it is. If anyone has an idea of a price that would be great. Thanks

It has a 6" barrel. Is that more rare?

I believe you have a Colt Lightning made in 1902..
    A picture would be nice.
