Lyman All American Press with odd size hole

I have an old Lyman All American Press with a 1 1/8 inch diameter hole. Don't know what the pitch of the threads are. The rest of the holes are standard 7/8 inch. I called Lyman and the tech guy said Lyman made a few of these, but it was really a bad idea. He thought it was a standard Shotgun die size, but most of the die references have these dies at 1 1/4x12. Does anyone know of an adapter that would help me to use this 4th hole?

I have this on my herters press use it for small lyman dies plus i have shotgun dies that fit it.tks hedge[:D]

straycatcdc- currently on e-bay there is two auctions for new turret tops in the all american press in the 7/8 standard size. The price of the replacement is $46.00 I would link to the auction but I am still upset with their brass/bullet policy- but that should not stop you from getting what you need. Just look under - reloading-presses Joe.

I have 1 or two of the adapters that allow use of the 310 sized dies in a standard 7/8" hole.

I would actually like to find a new turret top with all standard 7/8 holes or an adapter to screw in to the 1 1/8 inch hole and use standard 7/8 inch dies. What I have is an oddball Lyman All American press with three 7/8 holes and one 1 1/8 inch hole. Lyman says they made very few of these. I guess I just got unlucky and got one on Ebay. Lyman says they couldn't give these away. What I'm finding on Ebay is a replacement top for the Lyman Pro-Line Junior. If Joes has an auction number for a Lyman All American top, I would sure appreciate it. By the way, I appreciate all the responses. This forum has always been very helpful to me.

That guy makes the top plate for the All American also. There was one on his site the other day. You should email him through his auction site.

I think I've seen this top plate. It's an 8 holer, I believe.
