I just acquired one with what looks to be the original barrel.
but, it's only 18 1/2 "
i don't see a lot for sale, but it looks like 26" was the norm.
the bluing on the barrel makes me think it's original and not cut.
could this be a special order from the factory?
thanks
tom

Call Remington. I would think you have a BUBBA. What is the barrel marked for choke?? What does it measure??

What does the barrel marking say,,, Skeet, Full, somewhere on the barrel it has something...I presume the barrel has been cut... no mention of an 18 1/2 incher... Mine had a 26 inch skeet barrel on it.... Search for another barrel for it.. restore it back to original configuration.. worth more money...

Just to be warned, it took me 18 months to find a full barrel set in good condition. They do come up for sale, but not that often.

If you do decide to sell that 18.5" barrel, I may be interested just for the novelty, but I am not going to sell any of my hard-earned barrels.
