I have not been able to find the exact model of gun that I own, so I need an appraisal on the following if possible.
I have in my possession a German Mauser handgun of unknown date, in great condition with leather holster, 2 empty marked Mauser gun clips, military certificate of passage, and additional identification documents.
Description as follows:
Pistol Mauser 7.65
Ser. No. 167013
Wooden handle
Pin remaining in trigger
Gun marked
015 above trigger
Waffenfabrik Mauser A.-G. Oberndorf A.N. Mauser's Patent on barrel in single line.
other side, Mauser 7,65 with serial number.
Identification documents
Signed military release on Dec 20, 1945 - European Theatre, in good condition, excellent legibility.
Pictures can be sent on request.

Thank you so much for your time

It appears from your description, that you have a Mauser Model 1910/1914.
It is probably one of the more common of the German Pistols brought back as souvenirs by G I's after W W II.
They were made in great quanity by Mauser over a period of 25 years, production stopped just prior to W W II. Over 500,00 were produced during this time frame.
Depending on condition and originality, value as you describe would be in the $300 to $500 range.
It's not possible to be any more specific, with out a hands on appraisal.

Dug up a picture from the net. This pistol is very similar to yours, EXCEPT it's a earlier model in .25 caliber. Cosmetically they appear the same.

Without actually Seeing it or a Photo of it...I'm gonna go out on a Limb and give a guess....Im believe its either a Model 1934 or a Mauser HsC or maybe a Forerunner..the HsA or HsB....Its even harder to place a Value on it...as I have No True Idea of just what you have...
You make No Mention of Swastikas or Eagles or Inspetors Marks...Please Post a Photo so that I/We can ascertain its True Identity.......
