Both are good loaders-only real difference is that the sizemaster has the "collet" resizer. A nice feature, but like all add on's it cost more. If your looking for a used press, you will find many more used 600's than size masters (check the auction sites includind e-bay). I've used both and unless your going to do a "lot" of shooting (if you are buy a grabber or 9000),I would spend my money on a used 600
(in fact ,I'm looking for one).

the sizemaster is more a pain in the back side than what its worth , stay with the 600 jr , much simpler

If you only have one shotgun, then you don't need the sizemaster. If you are shooting multiple different shotguns, then you may want to consider a sizemaster to prevent possible problems with chambering.

I've owned a sizemaster for year and I love it! yeah it's single stage but so what. The trick with any of Mec's collet style presses is keeping the collet clean. One or two loose pellets get in there and they can hose things up pretty fast.

I'v used the mec jr for about 15 yrs with the micrometre adjustable type charge bar and I like it alot. No brobs. and the shells feed in every shotgun I own. It does want to throw spent primers all over but a piece of cardboard taped over the catch tray takes care of that. Get one if you can, and GOOD LUCK

You'v gota kill it to grill it
