Hello Group,
I remember seeing or reading somewhere that a Sten Sub-machine gun Magazine will fuction in another weapon. Does anyone know what it is? I think it was a 9mm Uzi or maybe a Mac-10. And now for the big money question.... will this weapons mag work in a Sten?
Thanks, paul.

It was in the shotgun news, May 10th issue, page 19. Its called the Vulcan. Not sure if this is what looking for, but its the only one I have seen.
The lanchester SMG and a variety of Submachine guns used sten mags, Lanchester also had a 50 rounder that works with sten The German MP-28 also used the sten mag despite the fact that it was produced before the sten was a thought so it may be that the Sten used the MP 28II mag
I dont think the Sten Type mag will Work in Uzi, the Uzi mag is smaller
Various Semi Auto SMG Look Alikes also utilized the sten mag

Yes a sten mag will work in a commando mark 9. They look like a tommy gun but shoot 9mm, they also made a 45 auto version. Made by volunteer enterprizes in knoxville tenn. 1969-1976. Volunteer enterprizes became commando arms after 1978. I have both versions. The 9mm version was made to use sten mags.
Thank you for all the information. I had no idea they would fit so much stuff. Now for another one ..... Has anyone seen the top of one mag put on the bottom of another? I am thinking of a shotgun news ad were they had welded a PPHS drum onto a sten mag. I was told it works by putting a small section of motorcycle chain under the feed tray. Thanks,Odentheviking.
